As reported by the Associated Press- "Going after the women's vote, Democrat Barack Obama chastised Republican John McCain on Thursday over his opposition to an equal-pay Senate bill, his support for conservative-leaning Supreme Court justices and his abortion-rights objections. "
The Feminine "Merry-go-round"
Here we go ladies....We are on the merry go round AGAIN! This is NOT the first time that Obama has had to directly address the women in America. But now, with Mrs. Clinton totally out of the EXECUTIVE - but not the ENTIRE - picture, Barack must assure female society that he has "her" best interest at heart....
But with a gorgeous wife (people are still talking about that PURPLE dress GIRL!), two daughters, and a white mother (YES the RACE is important....we must show diversity here), WHY wouldn't he? Is that a stupid question?
I don't think so, because the debate alone shows the power of women. Yes, spoken about in many different conversations, for many purposes, anectoctal cliches, or subject correlations, here in relation to decision 2008, we too BRING UP the POWER of the KittyKat. One cannot just like women, smile at them, or "look like them"- come on California - to understand the plight of the American woman. To understand them is to be able to speak to them. To be able to speak to them is to win their heart. To win their heart is to win their vote- and further more the WHITE HOUSE.
At this time, I don't feel like delving into the differences in the American Woman. Is American Woman even a "politically correct" term? I dare a politician use that term in front of the wrong audience. Anyway, there is just no time to go there in this article- that would definitely not be posh (smart or fashionable). What I will say is that ALL politicians, big/small, black/white, male/female need to continuously work to alleviate problems concerning women in this country. It should not simply be the next bullet point, campaign slogan, or sound bite. It should be a main priority...and despite how I feel about Mrs. Clinton's nomination run, husband, race, public image, temperament, make-up choices, haircut, or style of dress, I applaud her for at least bringing THIS ISSUE to the FOREFRONT. Thanks for being posh!
FLYING PINK
Did you just ask if that was Jo Ann Davidson from the GRAND OL Party? Why yes, fellow blogger, concerned citizen, that IS! I think its important to recognize all facets of the woman voter, especially as it pertains to two of the STRONGEST political parties in the United State of America...I also think its a good thing to keep your enemies closer than your friends.
Are you interested in learning about the Womens RNC? I applaud you. They have a nifty newsletter with the coolest name- The Pink Elephants. The title alone appeals to me.

Martini's UP for a Cool NAME like PINK Elephants!
Martini's Down for the Feminine Merry Go Round... (I'm sick of riding it. Stop trying to "act like you care" about women's issues and DO. I shy away from the term feminist, but I love the term equal PAY- more PURSES, PUMPS, and MARTINIS, thanks)
